Our team is looking for a Sr. Content Marketing Strategist to join them!  Are you looking for a new challenge?  This role would have you be responsible for strategically designing, writing and producing compelling marketing materials that convey ICTC’s value proposition, particularly on the program side of ICTC, expand our digital footprint, and engage our diverse customer segments across multiple channels. This reports to the Chief Communications Officer and you will play a key role in telling our story internally at ICTC and externally on public channels, strengthening our entrepreneurial culture, communicating effectively to our market, and launching innovative solutions that help Canadian professionals and organizations succeed in the digital economy.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing strategic leadership for the content marketing of ICTC.
  • Leading the revision and ensuring industry best practices are met for the website from a content perspective as part of a collaborative effort led by the Communications Team
  • Leading the work to harmonize all ICTC content across all channels
  • Contributing to the business development and marketing strategy and its implementation through diverse channels (including Web, Conferences, Webinars, Case studies, One-pagers) 
  • Conducting market research to determine a target audience's needs, wants, habits, interests and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing campaigns 
  • Creating editorial and content creation calendars for various media platforms and outlets
  • Producing content for diverse types of products and services and diverse channels, such as web pages, blog posts, flyers, presentation decks, postcards, and content for social media
  • Meeting with internal clients to discuss needs, brand guidelines, goals, budget and timelines
  • Designing and assess the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Making data driven decision making to understand the performance of the content and its impact to the business
  • Knowing how to set content goals
  • Performing other duties as required

 

Do you have the following knowledge?

  • Experience producing content for the Web and social media. 
  • Experience in developing content and marketing strategies and running marketing campaigns. 
  • Experience building audiences through virtual channels such as Web, Webinars, and Social Media 
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing or relevant field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Marketing trends and best practices. 
  • General knowledge of the ICT industry

  • Detail oriented and very strong attention to details. 
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deliverables and work with minimal supervision. 
  • Intense interest in continuous learning and developing skills at the individual level as much as at the team level. 
  • Organized self-starter and have an excellent ability to work on multiple projects with multiple individuals and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Either English language or French language at native-level 
  • Ability to work in English 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Location:

  • Remote, Ottawa.


Term:

  • 12 month term with benefits, paid vacation/ personal time and RRSP contribution.
